Great Synagogue of Rome & Jewish Museum

The Great Synagogue of Rome was erected in 1904 in the Rome Jewish Ghetto. The monumental building features an Assyrian-Babylonian style, work of the great architects Armanni and Costa. The synagogue is dedicated to worship activities and it can be visited only through the Jewish Museum during guided tours available in different languages. Tickets include the guided tour to the Great Synagogue and an audio guide tour in English, French, Spanish, German and Hebrew.

Groups (min 20 persons): € 70,00 + € 8,00 each

Free of charge: children under 10 years of age, disabled visitors.

PRIVATE GUIDED TOURS
The private tour is available in Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Hebrew for single visitors and groups (max. 40 pers.); the tour will be 1,30 hour long.

The synagogue features a squared base and is topped by huge aluminium-coated pavilion dome with an Assyrian-Babylonian style. It is made by two floors, one underground and the other at the street level. The actual temple stands right there, featuring a central nave and two smaller lateral naves.
