About “Monet” Exhibit in Rome
Monet becomes a rock star! Rome celebrates the artist, his rebellious nature, his journey through life and artistic career.
The works are a testament of the artist’s artistic growth and come from Monet’s house in Giverny, donated by his son to the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris.
Hence, the exhibit dedicated to Monet includes his early works of the 1850’s, the beautiful urban and rural landscapes of Paris, London and Pourville, but also the portraits of his children and the best know canvases dedicated to the his garden, the rose boulevard and the water lilies.
